My path to this work has been anything but linear, but one thing stayed constant: I’ve always been drawn to the story numbers tell. From those early accounting classes to running my own businesses to earning my degree later in life, each step shaped how I support others today.

    My goal is to help you understand your numbers, identify leaks, improve cash flow, and plan for the future. My primary approach blends bookkeeping, advisory, and Outsourced Controller services so you get strategic support without the cost of a full-time CFO.

  • Balanced Life primarily support small to mid-size service-based businesses that want accurate books and strategic financial guidance. If you’ve outgrown basic bookkeeping or you’re ready to level up your financial systems, we’re a great fit. Industries we commonly work with include professional services, construction and trades, and online businesses. I encourage you to schedule a 30 minute call to see if we’re a good fit!

  • I can take care all things accounting; including payroll, A/P & A/R, invoicing, sales and quarterly tax payments and Bill pay. I stay up to date and use the latest cloud based software like Xero and Gusto, to keep everything automated and seamless. I’m also able to prepare financial statements on a regular basis and create a secure digital archive of all financial documents. Check out my services page for more information.

  • An Outsourced Controller acts as your financial partner, overseeing your full accounting process. This includes managing day-to-day bookkeeping, reviewing financials, improving systems, analyzing trends, helping with cash flow, and preparing you for tax time. It’s ideal for companies that have grown beyond simple bookkeeping but don’t need (or want to hire) a full- time CFO.

  • Unlike traditional firms that talk to you only at tax time, I believe ongoing communication is essential. Depending on your package, we will meet monthly or quarterly to review financials, discuss trends, and talk through questions. You’ll always know what’s happening with your money, no more guessing or waiting until March. I’m also available to answer any questions anytime throughout the year.

  • Yes! I am able to collaborate seamlessly with your tax professional. My job is to keep your books clean, organized, and tax-ready year-round so filing is smooth and stress-free. We can prepare a digital tax package for your regular tax preparer, if desired. Many of my available packages include in house yearly tax preparation in the monthly rate, so no surprises at tax time!
